Rumor has it he deleted his own Dodge Challenger review, allegedly because he felt it brought down the B R A N D. If true, a bit ironic for a literary quiz- master who stresses the importance of factual history and clarity.

The Challenger (AVENGER, DAMMIT)   stuck out — to some — because it had pantomimed masturbation, self-mutilation, etc. Maybe the imagery was a concern, vs just the standard verbal poop jokes.

He took down the Avenger video. He talks about it in another video. I think he felt that some of the jokes went a little too far, and he didn't like it anymore. But he does discuss it at some point.

I actually liked that one (there’s a bootleg still out there on the tube). It towed the line of literary analysis and balls to the walls insanity of the kind we saw in his Toyota Echo review.

I’m ok with him taking it down. If he’s not proud of it anymore, he’s not obligated to keep it up. It’s like a band that doesn’t play stuff off of their first album anymore.

As a note, I've hung out with Brian a few times. He's a nice guy.

So, first, he says it’s a hybrid, then corrects himself saying it’s not a hybrid. You were right the first time, bud. It’s a mild hybrid, but still a hybrid. He also says the electrics cover up the power dip at shift points (so there are two power sources? So it’s a hybrid?), which calls “torque converter stall”, which is not what torque converter stall is. (As I understand the concept, it refers to the maximum RPM that the transmission can be kept at with wheels locked, ie, foot on brake and gas).

Mr. Regular and The Roman have English Lit degrees and are trying to sound like Engineers, and it doesn’t really work.

Also, their take on RC Cola is dead wrong, it is the best cola, all others are toilet water in comparison.

The RegularWiki is a labor of love from one or two enthusiastic fans. I used to mod the RCR subreddit and one guy would consistently update that wiki for a while since I didn’t have the energy or time. It’s pretty good for quote searches and things.

Admittdly, the Avenger was a VERY old episode and was from a rawer time for the RCR duo. Back then they were just kind of freewheeling and their fanbase hadn’t emerged yet.
